  3. I was going to reply by gimping an X-wing and the Millenium Falcon in, but, I can’t be bothered right now. :)

  5. That would be Caracol (I did read your blog instead of juist jumping in from Planet Fedora and fire up my bullknit hole :-)). Hmmm… Last year I was in Honduras and I can’t praise the country more. Warm people with hearts of gold and no mindless violence like all their neighbours. Far more expensive than, say, Costa Ricania[1] but worth every cent/penny/tael. Copan is not only the first ciry-state of the Mayan people, it is probably the most impressive and beatiful of all.

[1] That’s a literary reference for heathens to guess.

  6. Too much elevation difference to be Chichen Itza, Palenqu, or Tikal. Copan? Man, Honduran women rank right up there with Puerto Ricans and Venezuelans. I was in archaeology prior to libraries. My back and bank account are glad I’m where I am, but other parts of me miss that life.

  7. I had clicked through to your Flickr page and replied there, but isn’t this where the Millennium Falcon lands at the rebel base at the end of Star Wars?

  8. Going for the tangent angle… I say Facing Worlds from the original unreal tournament game.

  11. The place is Tikal (Gautemala) and was seen before during my honeymoon as well!

I hope you had a good time there as we did
